TIES Philippines Participates in IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific 2023, Strengthening Its Presence in Sustainable Tourism Leadership
The International Ecotourism Society (TIES) Philippines proudly participated in IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific 2023, the region’s premier Double Bill event dedicated to MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) and Corporate Travel. Held at the prestigious Bangkok Convention Centre in Bangkok, Thailand, the event brought together global leaders, tourism professionals, corporate buyers, and industry innovators for three days of meaningful engagement and strategic networking.
As the only event of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region that integrates both MICE and corporate travel under one platform, IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific continues to build a legacy of fostering collaborations and producing tangible business outcomes. This year’s edition welcomed over 1,700 delegates from 51 countries and territories, providing a vibrant space for cross-border dialogue, partnership development, and market expansion.
TIES Philippines’ participation underscores its commitment to strengthening sustainable tourism practices in the international arena. Through engagements with key industry stakeholders, TIES highlighted the importance of ecotourism, responsible travel, and community-centered development within the larger MICE and corporate travel sectors—sectors that increasingly recognize the value of sustainability in shaping the future of global travel.
The event served as a significant avenue for TIES Philippines to:
Build new international connections and partnerships
Share its advocacy for sustainability-driven tourism development
Explore opportunities for collaboration with organizations that champion responsible and eco-conscious travel programs
Showcase the Philippines as a potential hub for sustainable MICE and ecotourism initiatives
Through its active participation, TIES Philippines continues to strengthen its role as a leader, advocate, and partner in promoting ecotourism efforts that benefit local communities, protect natural heritage, and support the global movement toward environmentally responsible travel.
